Sony Ericson GC82

My son got one of these to use with his laptop for school this year.
It came with an old AT&T SIM card and we have T-Mobile. Will this card
require me to get a contract from Cingular? Someone mentioned that I
have to find out if it is locked or unlocked. How do I do that.

Try a T-Mobile SIM. If it doesn't work, the card is locked, and you're
out of luck even with Cingular, since Cingular isn't activating ATTWS
SIMs, unless you can find someone to unlock it (Cingular won't)
