Sonic Wall Pro and Red Hat Linux running Samba issue

Hello,

I work for a company using a Red Hat Professional Workstation running Samba.
A Sonic Wall Pro firewall is used for the firewall. It uses FirmWare
6.5.04, ROM ver. 5.0.1.0. Sonic no longer supports this unit for new
firmware updates. The firewall flags "malformed IP Packets" from the IP
address of the Red Hat system running the Samba. By any chance is anyone
out there using any Red Hat system with Samba and a old Sonicwall firewall
and getting the same message or had at one time and fixed the issue? Any
ideas, suggestions welcomed.

Sincerely,
Chad
