I have had my laptop in the same place for about 6 months and it always
had at least a 2 or 3 bar connection. About 3 days ago it suddenly
dropped to 0 bars(but stays connected) and sometimes it wont conect at
all. I have tried re-setting my router and the wireless thing on my
laptop but it doesnt change anything. If i move the laptop right up
beside the router it comes up anywhere between 3 and 5 bars, but it
still disconnects sometimes. Do i need a new router or something or is
there some way to fix this, thanks

Sounds like wireless (radio) interference. See the interference topic
in the wiki below.
