Hello,

I want to bridge two APs. I saw an article about the linksys wap11, but the
article was a bit old. what would be a (cheap) but modern device to use?

I bought two WAP11 version 1.1 off of eBay, then tweaked them using the
WAP11 hack. I bridge two buildings that are about 100 feet apart - direct
line of site - each sitting in a window.

Works like a champ!!

Linksys still makes the WAP11 - I think the current version is 2.6.

If you want a fatser link, you can go for the WAP54G, or something like it.
Here is a link to all the Linksys wireless products, including dedicated
access points. Scroll the entire page.
