I have been "dedicated" the responsibility of setting up a new comouter on
our existing windows 2003 server network. I have the computer up and running
but I no longer have a netwrok login screen when I bootup. I just have the xp
login screen. How do I "point" point this new machine to our network so the
login script will run when the computer boots and the user can login to the
network as was done before?

thx

Hi,

Right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Computer Name -> Change button.
Click in Domain radio button and enter name of your domain...

After you are done, reboot the computer.

Did you install Windows XP Home edition? If yes -- this edition can not be
joined to domain. Only professional edition can be joined to domain.
