I have about 100 users all using a server that has a network share for each
of them.

There are no performance issues, except when some statisticians run
analysis on data that is stored on the network share. A few of the program
they use are extremely i/o intensive as well as taking several days to run. I
have explained that their programs will run much faster if the files were
copied locally and accessed from there, but still they do it.

I need a report that can shows disk activity against user (or computer), to
see if any particular user is running jobs that have a significant effect on
the performance of the disk.

I have tried using applications that came with windows 2003, but all I see
is pages upon pages of data that I can not use to produce meaning full
reports with .
