What I have at the moment is an origo router with 4 lan ports in it, what I
want to do is connect a device to the router via one of the lan ports that
will allow me to use a wifi card in my laptop, the reason I want to connect
direct to the rouer and not to the pc is that I want to keep my pc turned
off while I access the net with the built in adsl modem in the router, is
there such a device?, and is ti expensive, I really do not want to buy
another router as I like the Origo.

Thanks

Eddy

You need something called a "Wireless Access Point".

All the major manufacturers will produce these (Belkin, Linksys, Netgear
etc) - as well as Origo

You can attach one to your existing Origo ADSL modem and it will let you use
your WiFi card in your laptop...

Sunil

Wireless access point is what you want, like an aerial for a wired
network really!
