I have an unusual situation. I have two directories on a
Windows 2000 server that I have shared with "everyone".
One directory can be seen by all computers on the server
(Win XP, 98). The other directory can be seen by all the
XP machines but the Windows 98 machine can not access it.
The security log shows the user, user98, as successfully
logged into the server. Also, the user98 can access all
the data in the one directory. Any suggestions?

Bruce

What are the two share names? If one of them is too long, the Windows 98
machines won't be able to see it.
