3 years ago i bought a replacement ADSL router/switch/firewall for my old
Dlink 701. Then promptly moved to the bush (No ADSL up here)

Well finally i can get ADSL (Due on Tuesday) so i dragged out my old
Alcatel Speed touch modem, and Soho Router Hokked them up, and went to
configure the router for my new setup, nad guess who hasn't got the
flaming setup disk anymore. (I assume it was trossed like a lot of stuff
before the move up)

So i've been scanning the Internet for the software, with no luck,

It has no brand naming on it, just a green sttip over the led's with the
words

ADSL/Cable SOHO Router Broadband ADSL/Cable SOHO Router with 4-Port
10/100Mbps Ethernet Switch

I think i bought it from Harvey Normans, but can't be 100% sure.

If anyone has any idea about this Router or happens to have the setup
GUI, please let me know..

Thanks

Greg

I have never seen a router that needs a set-up disk.

Its a Router Firewall and Switch in one, The GUI allows you to set up
DHCP , ADSL sign on parameters, DMZ addresses etc.

It's probably got DHCP on it. So plug into it, find out what IP scheme its
running, and then telnet into it and configure it.

Most routers are router, firewall (NAT), and switch. The GUI is not the
same as a set-up disk. Just type 192.168.1.1 or some such into your
browser and you can then configure your router.

Tried that but can't login, even after a hard reset, tried all the known
default passwords that i could find for SOHO routers on the net, but no go.

Thats the bit that bothers me, No Part number, no manufactures name,
nothing... Doesn't matter much now, went and bought a new netgear
wireless ADSL modem/router/firewall/switch. That should fix the problem

Thanks

If it has a FCC ID nmuber label on it you can search at the following
address for the info registered with the FCC. It has detailed info
including photos and user manual.
