SOHO - No XP Connect

Hi

I've a SOHO with 4 PCs

1 Win2K and 3 Win98

I've put a dual boot option onto one of the 98's and it now has XP on it as
well. When running in Win98, I can connect to my wireless router and surf
the web. If I boot in XP mode, I can see the router but I don't get an IP
address allocated (I do in Win98). I've tried static addressing but it still
won't work?

This is my introduction to XP so there may be something a bit more basic
I've missed out on. My bridge has the bridge, 1394 and the wireless
connection in it ... is that OK?

Any other pointers

Thanks

Simon

Right-Click on the wireless connection, highlight TCP/IP, click on
"Properties" and check that "Obtain an IP address automatically" is checked.
Presumably your router is running DHCP?

Yes the router has dhcp enabled. I wonder if it is the bridge which is
foxing me. I'm new to it. What should I be seeing/including in the bridge

Not sure I'm afraid.

For the record

I got it working ... I didn't need a bridge at all, just remove it and
everything worked fine!!

Thanks

Simon
