I have a broadband connection with a limit on download volume.

Is there any software available that will allow me to monitor my download
volume.

I've done a google search but can't find any.

Any suggestions? Tia.

Doesn't your ISP provide a tool for this?
Plusnet does on its portal - "View my broadband usage"

Has anyone had problems with the new version ? - the old one always
appeared to be spot on for me traffic-wise, but the new one seems to
be over-reading the speed by a factor of ~8 on downloads and
uploads...

It's possible it has defaulted to Kib/s, rather than KB/s. Use the
Options to alter.

I've just posted a couple of pics following a thread on the readerror
website - i've gone through the settings and can't see any obvious
differences, and in fact installed over each installation with the
other version keeping the settings exactly as they were.
