SOCK_PACKET

Hi @ all,

I had a previous msg some days ago regarding UDP Broadcast.

My recent researches show that what I try to achieve will be
possible with "SOCK_PACKET".

Does anybody have a good example source code for me?

I am trying to send out a broadcast msg to reach all ethernet
devices being connected to my hub/switch to get infos from
the devices and to send infos to the devices...
The whole is intended to work as a easy setup method.

Sounds to me like you're trying to re-invent DHCP?
