Ok, I know what Signal to noise ratio and attenuation are, but could someone
clarify is a smaller figure better for both?

I also hear of line loss, I assume this is attenuation?

I have a 2mb line and have the following:

Down Up
SNR margin 33.1 31.0
Attenuation 22.9 15.0

Any good??

Rob

Attenuation - the lower the better
SNR margin - the higher the better

I'm in Sheffield and have Bulldog's Primetime service 2mb primetime service.
I've had some speed issues and just wanted to make sure that the SNR and
loss weren't an issue.

Thanks
Rob

THat's good to know, as I just checked mine, and they seem pretty
healthy at:

SNR Margin Loop Att.
42.5 26.5
