snmp problems with corega router

I'm currently using a Corega adsl modem/router and i'm using mrtg to
monitor my usage. It appears that when the router is queried by SNMP
the values for ifOutOctets for all the interfaces is much lower than
it should be.

Has anyone else experienced this problem ? I've reported it to Corega
who seem to be bemused by it.

The router also appears to be a rebadged Linksys, so has anyone else
had this issue with a BEFW11S4 WAP or BEFSR41 router ?

Thanks

Nigel
