I have an old Windows 98 laptop with a similarly old ZoomAir 4100 16-bit
PCMCIA wireless card (
http://www.zoom.com/products/zanics.shtml). They
work fine together.
I now want to use something like NetStumbler so I can monitor local
traffic. Trouble is, NetStumbler does not discover the ZoomAir card. Are
there any other NetStumbler-like programs that will understand this
card?
(If necessary, I can replace Win 98 with SuSe Linux 9.2).
Or, as an alternative, are there any other 16-bit (repeat: 16-bit, not
32-bit) PCMCIA wireless cards that will work with NetStumbler? 802.11b
at 1Mbps is quite adequate for what I want to do.
