Hi

Could anyone give me instructions on setting up this router and modem to
connect to my BT Broadband account please.

I can access the router admin page, but I don't know what settings to use
for
wan type (dynamic ip, ppp over ethernet)
host name (currently blank) and only available if I use dynamic ip
ppoe account and password are only shown if I select ppoe as the wan type

Do I need any other settings?

I'd appreciate any help or if anyone can point me to some instructions

Thanks very much

Neil

I've been trying various settings

If I set the router to pppoe and enter my account and password, the modem
seems to connect. The line sync light stays lit, and the rx and tx lights
flash

I am using a network cable connection rather than wireless.

However, I can't access any websites or my email and I'm puzzled why not

Thanks

Neil

The UK is PPoA not PPoE.

Typically, you need to enter the user name and password, PPoA, DHCP
(dynamic) for the WAN and VC of 0,38 for ADSL.

That's about it.

David.
