I have a SMC2662W-AR 11Mbps, running on Windows 2000 Professional SP4.
I did get it to work after some serious troubleshooting, mainly trying
different combinations of drivers and utility software versions.
Stupid me accepted a driver update through the Windows Update - and guess
what, the SMC adapter crapped out again.
Are there anybody out there that has this shitty piece of equipment working
that could tell me which combination of driver/firmware/utility you are
using?
I am currently trying:
Driver version: 1.1.2.17 (info from device manager)
From the EZ Connect Wireless USB Utility program I get the info on the
Version tab:
Driver 1.1.2.22
Firmware 0.100.0.43
Utlity 3.1.3.8
Any help will be highly appreciated.
