SMC2652W AP as bridge

I need to connect a PC to my home network. The wireless PCI card in there
is a piece of junk and works quite poorly. I could splurge and get a
Belkin USB adapter (which works quite well in my house) but I also have an
old SMC 2652 AP that I could use.

So, is there any way to get that AP to act as a bridge and get it to
connect to another AP?

TIA,

-Dondo
