SMC2532W-B EliteConnect

Has anyone manage to get this card workin on a laptop?
I have been trying to get it set up on redhat 9

Great card till the removable antenna breaks and you go hunting for rp-mmcx
connectors. Real rare. What would be cool would be 2 rabbit ears perhaps
made of titanium or some other flexible material which could help increase
range.

They have the external antennas for this card at the truckstops that I use
for accessing the internet. I have thought about buying to of them, one for
each plug, and taking advantage of the 6' cords mount them on either side of
my truck.

However I am having trouble getting it set up in linux. Any help there would
be greatly appreciated. haveing to use it in XP home right now.

I use it with XP Pro. Works real well for me. The only
problem I have had is with the install page. Didn't work
for me so I set it up by going directly to the setup procedure
without using the install page. I also have the SMC antenna
for it which unfortunately has reverse MMXC connectors,
somewhat diffricult to find. But, works real well once
everything installed etc.
