SMC2404WBR with WET11?

Well I have just about given up on Linksys and I am about to return my
WPC11 v4 + BEFW11S4 v3.2 before my 15 days are up. Was looking at getting
a SMC2404WBR 802.11b+ wireless router and the SMC2435W PC Card instead.
According to Linksys the WET11 is interoperable with other 802.11b (DSSS)
compliant equipment so I think I should be ok. And I know that by having
the WET11 connect to the 2404WBR I will not get the 22/44Mbps speeds or 256
WEP but I can live with that, only need to share an Internet connection and
the occasional file transfer. Anybody know if there will be any problems
using a WET11 to bridge into the 2404WBR? I can not seem to find this out
on-line and I'd like to avoid yet another exchange if at all possible.
