Might anyone have a recommendation for a small sized Access Point? 802.11b
is fine.

I'm just looking for something I can throw in my laptop bag that can be used
to connect my wireless-capable laptop while troubleshooting customer's
networks.

Thank you!

Well I'll be damned!!! All this time, I thought I was getting good service
from my two laptops and wireless router. How could I be so stupid to think
they had proven to be really usefull in my frequent travels?

If you don't have anything constructive to say, please just keep quiet.

Now, toddle off back to your corner and resume sucking your thumb.

Yeah, I have 3x 2.4GHz phone handsets, Wireless X10, IR/RF Extender, RF
Wireless keyboard & mouse, RF PCRemote, Microwave Oven, 802.11b+ AP and
multiple clients and they all work fine at the same time (to my surprise I
must admit).
