small network connectivity

i am connected three systems in the network but the
systems are not accesble for continuously on the network.

hard ware setup is : one 5 port switch, patch cards
connected to systems

configaration in system: workgoup as same to all systems,
unique IP ADDRESS given.

pl suggest what i can i do....
