I generally use two NIC cards, and then drop in a small cable/dsl router
(like Linksys BEFSR11) between my Internet DSL/Cable connection and my
server's NIC card. The other NIC card is then connected to the hub or switch
that all my other workstations are connected.
For example network configurations, go to
www.smallbizserver.net and click
on Networks.
