Slow Win98 Client Win Explorer

I am finding that if I copy/paste/delete files in a Win98 Windows Explorer
it tends to hang for a few seconds before refreshing. Did not have it on a
previous Netware server but now evident on a new Win 2003 server. What do I
need to change in Win98 (upgrading to XP, but not just yet).

If the delay is in browsing from the Win 2003 server to the Win98 machine,
use regedit and navigate to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Remote
Computer\NameSpace\

Delete this entry:

{D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF}
