Slow Speeds

I have a IC7-MAX3 and the MN-700

My connection is a shared T3, you heard that right. No
modems here, straight connection to the wall > hub >
switch.

When I plug my IC7-MAX3 straight to the wall I get
download rates of between 1M/sec-1.6M/sec, when I'm
plugged into the router, I get no more than 700k/sec.

What is going on?

I have the lastest firmare, and latest software.

I doubt that the MN-700 was even tested in this configuration as it was
designed for Cable and DSL broadband connections which are much smaller
pipes. Please give product support a call on this issue.

FYI, I get more than 700kbps on the MN500 (older version
of the MN700). It shouldn't matter how the bandwidth gets
there -- anyway it's still TCP/IP. The MN500 and MN700
should be able of supporting up to 10Mbps.

I would search for similar problems on the bulletin board
for other speed problems with DSL and cable access, and
how they got resolved for the MN700. Probably this has
nothing to do (and should not) with the T3 connection.

It's easy to post an anonymous comment and make untested assumptions
that if something is true on the MN500 it should be true on the MN700.

And BTW, the MN500 is NOT an older version of the MN700.
