Slow Speed Problem

Can anyone suggest a reason for the crap speeds i am getting, by deciphering the router
stats, please?
The router is connected to the linebox test socket by a less than metre long cable.
Those same figures (or as near as danm it) gave me a constant download speed of 6254kbps
before this "problem" kicked in last week
I have a feeling interleaving has been turned on.........or some other screw up by my
ISP/BT
I am migrating from them to Bethere, and am hoping that this will cure most of the faults
(come to think about it, this only started hapening after i applied for my MAC)
Anyway, any ideas please?
