Ihave a Toshiba Satellite laptop computer running Windows XP Home Edition.
Things have been going well for three years, but recently the computer has
became exceptionally slow. For example, when I click on an item from the
start menu, it takes about 60 seconds before it appears. This occurs
throughout all navations and when I click on Help and Support, it does not
appear until after several tries. Would someone be so kind as to assist me?
Thanks; Nat.

Well what have you done to attempt to fix the problem? Have you defrag your
hard drive? How much free space is on your C: drive? Have you run a virus
scan on the computer, have you run a spy ware scan? Have you run a registry
scanner?
