Slow Mapped Drives

I had to reload our domain controller. I did a fresh install of
server 2003 standard. We have a network of about ten computers. The
problem I'm having is the mapped network drive we have is slow to
access.

Logging into the domain and everything is fine. When I reloaded it I
installed service pack 2 and that may be causing all of the problems,
but I'm looking for fixes right now.

When opening the network drive it will take 15 seconds or so before it
will display the contents. If you leave a machine on overnight you
have to reboot it before the drive becomes accessible again.

I have tried changing the autodisconnect through the command prompt.
I've tried changing autoenrollment settings. I've tried changing the
idle timeout in the registry. I've added the server to the hosts file
and trusted zones on the computers. I've taken the computers on and
off the domain. I've remapped all the network drives. I don't have
any special software running on the server currently - ie firewall,
anti-virus, etc. It's doing basic file sharing.

Anyone have any ideas?
