Hi,

I have very strange problem!

I have sbs2000 server with 20 workstations,

Some WinXP some win98.

My problem is with slow copy files from the station

To server. The copy speed from the server to the stations

Is fine.

The problem accord only to new Windows xp stations, old ones working fine !!.

I was trying about 4 types of hardware workstations, new ones like

HP, Old ones, different type of net cards, connect the station directly to
the server,

All of these none help to solve the strange problem.

I have made some changes in the Tcp ip in the server side and in the
workstation side,

Steel with no luck.

The only way it work's, is when I try to work with IPX/SPX in the server
and

The workstations.

Can any one have idea why the file copy is slow from XP workstation to

The server Wit TCP/IP ? , and whay it happened only to new workstations ?

And the old one working fine ???

Than'x

Yuval,

Hello Yuval,

I have EXACTLY the same problem with new XP PCs and an SBS2003. Very slow
copy from XP the SBS and the opposite way is OK.

Really sorry I do not have a solution for you. Maybe you found the solution
????

Thank you
