SLOW browsing redirected My Documents

Hi folks,
Via group policy (on Windows Server 2003), I have my users local My
Documents redirected to their home directories on the server. The problem I'm
having is that it seems to take an awfully long time to browse their My
Documents before any of their files/folders appear. I'd say it takes 5-7
seconds (the annoying "flashlight" seems to search forever) for things to
appear whether they browse directly via My Documents or their home
directories.

Any suggestions of what my problem might be and/or what I can do to speed
things up???

Have you checked DNS settings on the client as well as their search suffix
settings under TCP/IP properties? Is the server busy? Is browsing the
Internet or accessing email also "slow"?
