Which OS is it on the PC at home, Steve?
If it's XP Pro, you can use the built in remote desktop feature:

If it's not XP, you will probably need some 3rd party software, but try
searching for "remote desktop", or "VNC" on Google.
Either way, you will probably need to make a config change on your firewall
to direct incoming traffic on the right port to your PC, but the port number
will vary depending what remote desktop software you use.
