Hi i have read back and can't find an answer to this. Yesterday i set up a
Wireless Laptop in a home that has a Sky Router. To my amazement i found
that the router switched its self off when the PC that it is connected to
was shut down, which obviously means the Laptop can not get a connection
unless the main PC is on. This to me goes against all what a router is
supposed to be.

Surly this can not be normal.

Its not.
Do they have one of those power saver strips that turns off the peripherals
when the PC is off?
