Sky broadband issues - Help Please?

Hi there

One of my coleagues is having problems getting her Sky Broadband order
through, and I'm sure one of you knowledgable peeps will know what to
do about it.

Basically, what has happened is that she has moved into a flat and had
to get a new phone no from BT as the old ocupant ported the number to
his new place.

She's rung up Sky who have said there is a LLU block on the line and
she needs to talk to BT about it - however BT say that SKY needs to
contact BT wholesale to have the block removed - and it's all going
round in circles.

I did wonder if it was something to do with the old occupant having had
an unbundled line before - but I'm not sure if that is the case.

Any ideas on how to rectify this?

thanks - had had a look at that already but couldn't find much to help
me - was wondering if someone had maybe had some direct experience of
it?

a) tell us what a reputable number checker like
www.btwholesale.com/getbroadband says (in full)

b) if it says there is an existing ADSL service on the line (or
similar) see
