Hi,
Once my new BT line is in, what is the current expected waiting time for
a new sky package i.e. sky dish,ADSL (LLU exchange),phone.

Also... will they refuse to install if the phone line is classed as a
business line with BT ?

Sky shouldn't be too much of a problem as it is for the flat above our
business premisis.

Finally..... :¬)
I believe there may be problems with connection of a Draytek vigour 100
modem to Be(there) adsl2+ service, does anyone know it the same problems
might be present with the Sky service?

Presumably the sky router is still hackable to get user name & password
to allow connection with non-sky kit ?

Cheers
Pete

for LLU ADSL I have now been waiting 14 weeks for $ky to sort out the
problems they appear to have made for themselves.

Phone SKY or email and ask for the correct answer.

Again, phone or email sky.

That doesn't make much sense.

Use a search engine to get the answer to that, it will show various forums.

Probably not unless you can follow precise instructions. I'm doubting that
as you haven't got the common sense to phone SKY or email and ask them the
answers to specific questions relating to your order/account. No one else
can give you the correct answers.

If you do want a precise answer, post your full name, address, phone number,
account number, order number, mother's maiden name, any passwords and I am
sure someone will call or email SKY and post the answers here.

Blimey!
I may just have to bite the bullet and go via UKonline instead.
Same price but without the TV or phone, plus having to pay £50 for their
router.

I have seen a few other posts WRT excessive delays hence the post.

Thanks for the feedback Dave.

Cheers
Pete

Thankyou for your advice David, unfortunately I have neither an order
nor an account so cant inquire about either.

A sales person will usually tell you anything but the truth when it
comes to having to meet required targets for the day/month etc
especially if pay is performance related.
Far more useful information can be attained from users own experiences.

Thankyou again for taking time to reply, most people with nothing to say
would generally not waste time replying to such a lame request as mine.

For that I am truly appreciative.

Yours respectfully
Pete.

If it gets unbearable (took 3 months for me) do some digging & contact
their CEO, directly then you may see some action (2-3 days from first
contact to getting problem sorted)

Thanks Kraftee,
To be honest, the TV and phone aren't an issue as it's only the ADSL I'm
interested in. So for the sake of hassle and grief I may as well just go
through UKonline and get the job done properly without bothering with
the sky side of things.

Cheers

I know Dave. I've been with them here at home for well over 2 years all
be it on a 2 Mbps connection due to distance from exchange.

So I am more than happy to pay for the service without having the sky
bundle.

Cheers
Pete (Now posting from home not my flaky virgin account)
