Sky broadband CDs

When I get Sky BB do I have to install the CDs that come with it? My
new laptop is a Apple Macbook so I was wondering if just plugging in
the router would be okay without installing the CDs

Absolutely. Just plug in and you're away. The CD is unnecessary.
