Does anyone know what the FUP is for Sky BB on the max service? I'm
currently with Bulldog and am seriously thinking of shifting as the service
and line quality has seriously degraded in the last couple of months.

Thank you for that but this raises an interesting question... has anyone run
afoul of their FUP yet? Say I was downloading 100gb+ a month, would that
contravene their FUP? According to the FUP no

There FUP is like many others - whatever they decide it is at a certain
point in time. I suspect in the early days there is plenty of capacity and
you can use as much as you like. As customer numbers increase though this
could change.

That is why I have decided to change to a clearly stated cap product - at
least you know where you are.

Phone sky and ask them what the limit is on the MAX service. I would record
the conversation, so you have something to back you up later if sky
backtrack.

I have heard figures of 250gig, although that was unconfirmed.

yes per month. Like I said this may be an internet rumour. If it is
correct, then yes its a very good deal.

That's disgraceful.
I get 16M, so I could download more than 5000G(5Tbytes) a month but they
want to restrict me to 5% of that.
I could use that allowance up in less than 2 days.
Anyone know where I can get 16M with no limits (and a few dozen disks)?

What are you doing that you would need to pull down 5 Terra Bytes ?

constantly watching streaming movies ?

How much do you spend a month on hard drives ?

You have to be practical. Do you really have 5Tbytes of free disk space?
If not then your point is somewhat irrelevant.

Looking at cold hard figures it does seem unfair that you are only allowed
around 5% of your total maximum allowance. In practice you will find 250gig
is very reasonable (if its true).
