I have a network consisting of four sites, connected with VPN connections.
On all of the four sites there is a DC.
Now I have made a new site, where I have put a new DC (With DC promo)
When I look in AD Sites and Services, I can see the new server under one of
the already existing sites, under servers. Now I want to put the server in a
new site. That's where it goes wrong.

As far as I know, you first have to make a Inter-site transports (under IP),
but when I try that, it seems that I already have to have a site (under
'sites not in this site link' I can't see my new site)

When I try to make a new site, I have to choose a Site link, but since I
can't create one?

What am I doing wrong?

Marc

When you create a new Site just highlight DefaultSiteLink and click OK - you
can change this later. See:

I have no DefaultSiteLink anymore, but I choose another one. As you said, I
could change it later...
Thanks.
