I have a system PIII(1.2G), fedora core 4 latest version.
The ethernet card was detected and working fine for few days then it
stopped working.
It prevented the machine from booting up then I disabled the network
interface and then if i manually start it it works for some time then
stops working. If i give user a permission to activate it then It wonty
work from superuser account it works but after some time stops
responding. Then I am unable to shutdown also. The machine just wont
shut down hang at
":stopping eth0"
and wont proceed.
I would like to know what messages should i look for. I am an avarage
programmer. Know a little bit about kernel also any help is welcome
including reading material ...... commands ...
