Hi,

Since one of my guys decided to apply all updates to one of my servers, the
remote VPN networks will no longer route traffic. Everything worked ok until
SP1 and the last 30 microsoft auto updates have been applied The setup is as
follows:

Server 2003 (now sp1 )

Isa 2000 SP2 ( 2 network cards in server, 1 for external untrusted
interface to internet )

Exchange 2003 sp2

RRAS and PPtp configured for VPN

Remote sites

Draytek Vigor 2600 routers with PPTP enabled

PPtP User accounts are configured on the 2k3 server for the drayteks routers
to dial into and get a static address, currently the routers dial in and
remain connected, but IP traffic will not route from the network behind the
Draytek routers. previously all remote networks accessed the server network
ok

All worked fine until the updates were applied, I am suspecting a rogue
IPnat.sys file, before i elaborate any further, has anyone else has a similar
issue ?

Probably Server2003 SP2 got applied. Remove it.
That is the SP2 for the Server, not ISA. Leave the SP2 for ISA alone if you
have that.

It should show in Add/Remove Programs.

Server 2k3 SP2 was not installed as part of these updates..... I am almost
getting ready to remove the updates and put it back as it was, but I would
like to resolve the issue.
