Simple problem when browsing tring to view workgroup shares?

HI! I am having problems browsing my shared folders through either the
network neighborhood or when trying to map a drive to a share. I get an
Access Denied error.

I can however view and access content in the shareddocs folder on the other
two machines and the host.
I have created the shared folders ( other than the default shareddocs ) and
gave access to the network.

I am a little confused why I can access files on all system through the
shareddocs folders but cannot access the newly created shared folders by
either mapping them ( map drive) or by trying to view them by browsing the
workgroup in the network neighborhood.

All computers see each other but will not show its content. ( access denied)
the only way is by the default shareddocs that I had a while ago.

Can someone give me something to try out because I am stuck with this.
