Simple distro for DHCP server?

Hi,

I am going to setup some DHCP servers for an IP-phone system. I am
using some low-spec'd machines, as I have a ton of them as spares, and
because the servers will only be serving DHCP.

I must be able to configure scope options, as I am going to specify an
IP-address of a server to the IP-phones. Furthermore, there will not be
IS staff present on some of the locations, so I would prefer a simple
interface to configure this (in case we need to cahnge anything).

Does anyone know a simple Linux distro, with an easy to use interface,
which allows me to set up the DHCP servers and the scope options?

Regards

Lars

What is your definition of low-spec?

I would think a basic install of Debian + dhcp3-server + webmin should
do it; no need to install an X server on the boxes, webmin is your
remote administration.

Have a look at this :
http://www.devil-linux.org/home/index.php
You can configure it to be only a dhcp-server .
Included Interface is textmode (via SSH/SCP/SFTP and editor) or some 3rd party
generic software that supports creating ISC-dhcp config files.
