If it *is* auto-sensing, either will work - it doesn't matter.
How many devices are there in your LAN? Unless you need more than 4 of the 8
ports on your Dabs switch, why not just plug them all into the new router.
It might even be faster unless the PCs only have 10Mbps network cards.
