How are the clients getting the certificate? Through an AD GPO? Are the
certs 3rd party or do you have a PKI (cert services) running in your AD
forest? Have you tried manually copying and adding the cert to the correct
store on the client?
btw- there is a newsgroup (microsoft.public.security.crypto) dedicated to
certificate questions, such as this. I cross-posted it for you to get better
exposure from the experts in that group. Just look back here for their
responses.
