signal getting weak

hi,
am using d Link wireless router di 524. On switching on my notebook I
get excellent signal from the router. After using the notebook for 30
minutes or so, the signal turns to poor and thus not able to get any
internet connections.The notebook was not moved at all i.e at its
original location
To get back to having an excelllent signal , i have to click on the
"repair" button. What's wrong?
