I was able to use the sierra aircard 775 in a desktop pc thru a
pcmcia to pci adaptor w/ ricoh chipset r54C475II. Problem comes when I
tried to install it in a new model of mainboards like ECS P4vmm2
rev:8.1
The parent adapter of the aircard is getting a device conflict. I
tried to change settings in IRQ,I/O.etc. and still going back to old
settings with conflict.
It has a device conflict (exclamation point) coming out in from the
device manager. I almost take out all the other device which may have
a conflict but still the same. Because of this my modem card can’t
also connect to the internet.
Is there any relation to the APIC mode of the mainboard because I
noticed that with the old mainboard with out this APIC mode, it is
working well.
any help/suggestions are welcome!
