Hi
Is it possible to shutdown a machine using port? What I need is I
want to shutdown a machine through port. The machine may be of any kind
of operating system.

Thanx in advance

Well, I guess that if you plug the other end of the network cable
into something like 50.000 volts... maybe "shutdown" isn't the right
way to describe the effect...

What do you mean by "port". It's easy to remotely shut down a Linux system,
using the "halt" command. There's also a "shutdown" command available for
OS/2.

What was the issue they are giving partial info, due to lack of
knowledge or want to get more knowledge by typing two or three words?.
