I have to shut down my network completely for building updates. I need to
know what order should I shut down the servers in.
I have an Exchange 2000 server, a Windows 2000 file/print server, 1 Windows
2003 Web server, 2 ISA 2004 servers and 2 Windows 2003 DCs.

What should be powered down first?

Hello,
I would bet on :
Windows 2000 file/print server
2003 Web server
2 ISA 2004 servers
Exchange 2000 server
2 Windows 2003 DCs

I guess the 2 ISA are not firewall between you and servers ?
Else you may loose access to finished the shutdown (and so change order to
last by isa)

Any services which the already-shut-down servers were providing are now
unable to the remaining servers.

In general, there is no issue, but if you're shutting down the servers
remotely by connecting through the ISA servers, then the ISA servers
should be last to go.
