Hello

I´ve disjoined a Windows XP (SP2, current patch level) Workstation from a Windows Server 2003 R2 (current patch level) domain and after reboot and logon the following error message occurs:

"This system is shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log off. Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shutdown was initiated by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM."

There is definitely no virus on this workstation!!!

Any ideas?

Thanks for your support in advance.
Best regards

What do you see in the event logs when you go in via safe mode?
What do you see in rsop.msc (run this in start | run)?

Hello

Thanks for your support!

After resetting
[ Computer Configuration | Windows Settings | Security Settings | Local Policies | Security Options ]
in gpedit.msc to Windows XP defaults, everything is working properly!

Best regards
