I'm using Windows 98 to connect to a Windows 2000 Server,
but I don't want the workstations should have to enter the
UserName & Password, is there a way this should be entered
with Regedit.exe, as with windows 2000? (Microsoft
Knowledge Base Article - 234562, this is only for Windows
2000)

Get a copy of TweakUI from http://www.microsoft.com/download and use it to
configure autologon for the Windows 98 PCs.

You won't be able sensibly to connect to the server without the W98 systems
logging onto the network with usernames & passwords which are registered on
the server. You can automate this process on the clients with TweakUi. Get it
from:-

http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/tweakui

MS originally provided it as one of the 'powertoys' but they keep taking it
off their download site - or, at least, hiding it...
