As I said in an earlier post, I'm looking for an ISP with: 8mb, at
least 10 POP mailboxes, spam filtering at the POP server, NNTP
newsgroup server, authenticated SMTP, and, of course, reliable!

Eclipse look pretty good, any thoughts?

Why put all your eggs in one basket?

Why not pick a connectivity ISP that will give you what you want, then
pick an email (and web space) provider that'll give you what you want,
then pick a usenet provider that will give you what you want?

Your answer is probably going to be money, but you get what you pay
for IMO.

Good luck.

Why not have a wander through here to get an idea of what Eclipse
has become, before deciding?

A year ago they were very good. In the last couple of months they've
turned to shit. I know of 3 people who were happy with them, but have
left in the last couple of weeks.

I moved to Eclipse a year ago. They were very good. I left them last month
because they'd deteriorated significantly. The final straw was learning that
they were moving people to a Tiscali LLU connection without enough warning
time to migrate away. I got out just in time, the same day I migrated I got
the 'LLU' letter !

Have they? I have been with Eclipse for a year (at a particular site)
and have not had any problems at all. But then we run our own www/mail
server and use Virtualnames for DNS.

What is a Tiscali LLU?
